FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Men in the Fort Wayne area who are serving or have served in the military can get a free haircut.
Barber Joe Silva at 5 Elements Barber Lounge on Dupont Road kicked off what he calls "Military Mondays" on Monday.
The servicemen can go in any Monday now through April 30 to get a free haircut. Silva looks at it as a way he can thank those who serve our country.
"I know how hard it is for them, especially when they're coming back from one of their deployments. I thought I would help out any way I can," said Silva.
Each man is limited to one free haircut once and must show his military I.D.
Those eligible can also put their names in a drawing to receive free haircuts for the rest of the year.
