FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Best-One Tire & Auto Care presented a $10,582 check to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer Thursday afternoon.

Best-One, based in Monroe, Indiana, raised the money through a program called "Caps 4 A Cause."

Best-One sells colorful tire valve stem caps to raise money for three different organizations. A set of four tire caps costs $5.

"Caps 4 a Cause is a great way to encourage awareness of charitable organizations and give our customers an easy way to support causes that are meaningful to them," Mark Zurcher, Best-One founder, said.

The company presented the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer with the check during the corporation's regional meeting of owners and managers from northeast Indiana.

Catherine Hill, executive director of the foundation, accepted the donation from Paul Zurcher, Best-One founder, and Mark Zurcher, vice president at Indiana Wesleyan University's Fort Wayne campus.
