HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- Around 2,000 people were without power on Sunday in Huntington, Allen, and Wabash Counties Sunday due to a problem with several substations belonging to United REMC .

As of 10 p.m. on Sunday night, an REMC spokesperson said all the power had been restored. But, the cause of the issue was still unclear.

According to REMC officials, they lost electricity at their Huntington, Bippus, and Erie substations sometime Sunday afternoon.

United REMC technicians worked on the issue all evening.
