ALLEN Co., Ind. (WANE) - Many voters in Allen County have their specific reasons why President Obama or Governor Romney would be their ideal candidate to run the country.
Indiana was the first state CBS News projected to go to Romney.
This is after President Obama won Indiana in the 2008 general election. He was the first democratic presidential candidate to win the state since 1964. The last democratic president to win Indiana was Lyndon B. Johnson.
Some Allen County voters have expressed that the economy and health care are their major concerns while watching the presidential election.
Each voter had their own reasons why their candidate should be the next president.
"I can look at him as whole, not just him as a president, but him as a man, and him as a husband, him as a father, and see and feel comfortable that he will lead and guide us as a whole country in the best way he can," said Tony Young, an Obama supporter.
"I can look at him as whole, not just him as a president, but him as a man, and him as a husband, him as a father, and see and feel comfortable that he will lead and guide us as a whole country in the best way he can," said Debra Rorick, a Romney supporter.
Tuesday night, CBS News projected President Obama winning reelection.
