FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Allen County saw a jump in population, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau report.

The agency states that in 2012, just over 360,000 people called Allen County home. That was a jump of 5,000 people in just two years.

Allen County is the third largest county by population in Indiana.

Lake County comes in a second with a population of 493,000. The largest is Marion County, where almost 919,000 people live.
