KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A Warsaw man was airlifted to the hospital after a crash Tuesday morning west of Warsaw. His passenger died.
The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. near the intersection of Old Road 30 and County Road 350 West. When officers got there they had to pull the driver, Samuel Davis Jr., 34, from the car. The passenger, Victoria Anderson, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene from massive internal and head trauma.
Investigators determined that Davis was westbound on Old Road 30 and for an unknown reason drove off the north side of the road and crashed into a tree. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
