It happened near the intersection of Broadway and Jefferson Boulevard. Gatchell was rushed to Lutheran Hospital, where he later died. Police said Northrup left the scene of the accident. She now faces a Class C Felony for failure to stop after an accident resulting in death, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, and operating a vehicle with alcohol concentration equivalent to .15 or more.
Her hearing is scheduled to start September 24th.
