FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Some Fort Wayne students went back in time Friday to celebrate Pioneer Days.

Fourth graders at Saint Joseph-Saint Elizabeth School, along with teachers and volunteers, wore 19th century costumes, while trying activities their pioneer-era peers would have done: writing with a quill pen, needlework, tin punching, and square dancing.

The fourth graders also ate an authentic pioneer lunch.
