KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE)-- - Kendallville hair salon offered free haircuts Wednesday to help with the oil spill in the Gulf. The Beau Bramaji Salon gave free haircuts from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm.
The salon will send the hair clippings to a company called, "A Matter of Trust." The hair will then got to British Petroleum, to make mats that will soak up the oil.
The event is called Hair 4 Oil campaign. Several Vet Clinics and Animal Groomers have helped with the task.
The event was a nonprofit charitable event.
