FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Botanical Conservatory is hosting Jungle Adventure Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The exhibit features jungle animals including a porcupine, crocodile, python, tarantula, parrot, plus tree frogs and fruit bats.

Carmen Young, event coordinator for the Botanical Conservatory, said kids can also get their faces painted or enjoy the hammock and tree house.

Young said Jungle Adventure Day is part of the Botanical Conservatory's Mighty Jungle Adventure exhibit, which will be going on now through Sunday, April 7. The exhibit will also be featured during the Conservatory's Easter in the Garden event.

"It's a family tradition for a lot of families to come out and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny at the Botanical Conservatory," Young said.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages three to 17, and free for children two and under.

Jungle Adventure Day is sponsored by 101.7 WLDE and WAJI Majic 95.1 FM. The Mighty Jungle Adventure exhibit is sponsored by the Edward C. and Mary McCrea Wilson Foundation.
