FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Traffic lights and about 900 customers were without power in southwest Fort Wayne on Thursday around 2 p.m.
An I&M representative YaVonda Ulfig said the outage was due to a tree on a power line and power was restored to the area near the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Getz Road in about an hour.
I&M was reporting 245 outages throughout Allen County despite restoring power to those affected in southwest Fort Wayne. Ulfig said the outages were sporadic and not concentrated within any area of the county.
Motorist are reminded that intersections with no functioning traffic signals should be treated as a four-way stop.
