Deadline to apply for holiday assistance is Friday, Oct. 19

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Allen County families are able to register for Christmas assistance from the Salvation Army and the Marine Corps Toys for Tots organizations from October 15 to 19.

Applications for both Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army Corps on 2901 N. Clinton St. No appointments are necessary. 

Struggling families can apply to receive a new outfit and toys for their children ages 0-14 or a gift card for their children ages 15-17. They can also get food for their Christmas dinner.
