$40,000 Powerball ticket purchased in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Powerball ticket worth $40,000 was purchased at a Meijer store in Fort Wayne.

The Hoosier Lottery announced the winning ticket, which matches four of the first five numbers in Saturday night's drawing, was purchased at the Meijer located at 5909 Illinois Road.

The person who purchased the winning ticket added the Power Play option for an extra dollar which made the winning prize increase from $10,000 to $40,000.

The winning Powerball numbers were: 3-22-26-41-49 PB:18.
