FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - NewsChannel 15's Randy Spieth talks with Pastor Luther Whitfield for the series "Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days."

Luther Whitfield is the senior pastor at New Covenant Worship Center.  He also serves as the Director of Urban Ministry for Fort Wayne's Youth For Christ.

The pastor says America's youth is key to the country's future.  He also believes faith-based organizations are playing a big role in getting people though these hard times.

Wednesday at 5 p.m., NewsChannel 15's Heather Herron interviews Chris and Molly Mengerink. A hard-working married couple, who lives in South Whitley, trying to raise two daughters.
