FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - As NewsChannel 15 continues its series "Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days", Glenn Marini sits down with Komets president and co-owner Michael Franke.
Franke grew up on Fairfield avenue in Fort Wayne playing street hockey with his brothers. After earning a degree from IPFW Franke went into the radio sales business.
In 1990 Franke and his four brothers pooled their funds to purchase the Komets franchise. The Komets are playing their 69th season of hockey here in Fort Wayne this winter.
