FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Our first interview subject for "Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days" is John Scheele, owner of Cindy’s Diner in downtown Fort Wayne.

Scheele bought the diner in 1990 for his wife Cindy. Previously, Scheele owned a construction company. At his diner, Scheele is the only cook, and the personal attention he gives his clients allows him to consume information on the minds of people everyday.

Friday morning on First News, Pat Hoffmann interviews Fort Wayne GOP mayoral candidate Paula Hughes.
