FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - If you want to check the pulse of a community, grab a seat at a local barber shop.

King's Barber Shop sits at the corner of Pontiac and South Anthony Boulevard on Fort Wayne's southeast side.

Regular customers get more than just a great hair cut when they walk through the door.

As part of News Channel 15's special series "Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days", Pat Hoffmann talks with Lewis King about the challenges our country faces and the hope he has for the future.

Friday November 11, Adam Widener sits down with Huntington North Principal Jeremy Gulley, a veteran of the armed forces on First News, and at 6.
