FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - In Friday's edition of NewsChannel 15’s “Saving America: 28 Ideas in 28 Days” series, NewsChannel 15 Reporter Megan Reust sat down with CEO of Lutheran Health Network, Joe Dorko.

He's been CEO there since October of 2010. Dorko has been in the healthcare field for over 30 years.

Dorko said Americans need to get back to the basics. Our grandparents may be the ones with answers to our problems.

He also said if we take personal responsibility, it may help reduce our nations deficit.

Dorko said some years ago he was overweight.  It wasn't until he saw his father being taken into the operation room for health complications that he decided to make a change.

On Saturday, NewsChannel 15's Heather Herron will talk with Herb Hernandez, a representative with United Hispanic Americans.
