2 attorneys assigned to Plumadore case

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Two attorneys were appointed by the Allen County Public Defender’s Office Friday to represent Michael Plumadore, the man accused of murdering and dismembering nine-year-old, Aliahna Lemmon.

According to a news release from the Public Defender’s Office, attorneys, Anthony S. Churchward and Mark A. Thoma will represent Plumadore.

Churchward has served as a deputy public defender since 2000 and has represented individuals in a variety of criminal cases, including major felonies.

Thoma is an 18-year veteran of the public defender’s staff and also has vast experience practicing criminal law in numerous major felony matters.

The Allen County Public Defender’s Office said it has every confidence Churchward and Thoma will represent Plumadore professionally, ethically and diligently within the bounds of the law.
