Power restored to 1,300 AEP customers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Power has been restored to about 1,300 residents on the southeast side of Fort Wayne.

The outage happened around 11 p.m. Thursday night. Power was restored shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning.

FWPD dispatchers did not know what caused the outage.

Indiana Michigan Power, a division of AEP, has not said what caused the outage.
