LAGRANGE, Ind. (WANE) - A suspect in three Ohio and two Indiana bank robberies has confessed to robbing the Peoples Federal Savings Bank in LaGrange on June 30.
Jerry Dale Roe, 46, of Ohio, was arrested in Columbus, Ohio by the FBI and U.S. Marshals.
While in custody, Roe admitted that he robbed the LaGrange bank and the Main Source Bank in Covington, Indiana in February.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department was able to connect the two Indiana robberies with the assistance of the FBI, a website called Bandittracker.com and surveillance video from the bank.
