INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - Kroger is warning customers of a check scam.
Officials say fraudulent letters and checks are being sent to Kroger customers, claiming the recipients are winners of the store's "Shoppers Lottery."
Officials say there is no lottery. And although the checks are made from legitimate Kroger checks, they're actually fake, and they're being rejected at banks.
Kroger is working with authorities to find out who's responsible.
If you've gotten one of these checks, call 1-800-KROGERS.
