Indianapolis nightlife night before Super Bowl

As the sun sets in Indianapolis on Saturday, people get prepared to head out to the bar and party scene the night before the Super Bowl.

There are plenty of lights, parties and music blaring from different clubs throughout downtown Indianapolis. Our NewsChannel 15 crew went to find out what were some of people's big plans.

They found out some were just going to walk downtown and enjoy the scene, others said they were heading back to the hotel rooms and putting on their "party clothes", and a few got their night started early in the evening.

One of the biggest parties is the CBS VIP Party. That party will last until 3 a.m. Sunday. A couple people told our crew they were keeping it simple, they're just heading to the bars and enjoy the experience with friends.

"We're going to have some beer and walk around, maybe check out the NFL experience stuff," said Delilah Middaugh from Fort Wayne.

"Later, we're going to go to the bars and just have a good time," said Megan Abney from Indianapolis.

Some people have said they wanted to go out, but they wanted to save their energy for the big game on Sunday.
