LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - A Hudson man is behind bars for maintaining multiple drug operations in the presence of his wheelchair-confined grandmother.

On Thursday morning, police searched 29-year-old Joshua D. McCann's home at 10120 E. 600 S. in LaGrange County.  They found 56 marijuana plants along with growing equipment and paraphernalia.

Police also found an active meth lab, an inactive mushroom growing operation, stolen electronic equipment, three handguns and $1,650 in cash.

Police say McCann lived at the home with his grandmother. Her physical limitations allowed McCann to maintain his drug operations.

McCann is preliminarily charged with six felonies counts related to drugs, theft and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
