INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Indiana State Police are seeking applications from candidates interested in becoming troopers.
The basic eligibility requirements are that applicants be U.S. citizens, at least 20 years old and younger than 40 when they receive their appointment, have a high school diploma or GED, have a driver's license and have vision correctable to 20/50.
Recruits earn $1,417 bi-weekly while being trained. Probationary troopers earn $38,444.
The deadline for applying is March 31.
