Silver Alert canceled for Rushville man

RUSHVILLE, Ind. (WANE) - The Rush County Sheriff's Department has canceled a previously issued Silver Alert for a man from Rushville, Indiana.

A release by the Indiana State Police said the man was located. No further information was provided.

The Rush County Sheriff's Department has issued a Silver Alert for a Rushville, Indiana man.

According to a release by the Indiana State Police, officials were looking for Virgil Wesley Dolan, 87.

Dolan is described as 5-10, 200 pounds, with short gray hair and blue eyes. Dolan was last seen wearing a long sleeve blue and white shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.

Police believe he is in danger. Dolan may be disoriented and require medical attention.

Police believe Dolan is driving a blue 2006 Buick LaCrosse with Indiana license plate 738 ACR.

Rushville is about 40 miles south-southeast of Indianapolis.
