PLYMOUTH, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a deadly boating accident at Lake Latonka near Plymouth Sunday evening.
According to a DNR release, Marshall County dispatchers received a 911 call around 4:15 Sunday evening about a boating accident on the lake.
The release said a family was tubing on the lake when the victim fell off the boat. The boat was making a turn to pick up tubers who had fallen off. The victim was sitting on the top edge of the boat when he fell into the water and was struck by the boat's propeller, according to the release.
The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
