INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Changes at Indiana horse tracks with casinos will be among the
topics discussed by the state Senate Committee on Gaming when it
meets Monday at the Statehouse.
Republican Sen. Luke Kenley of Noblesville says the group
will discuss horse-racing issues in the morning and tend to more
general gaming topics in the afternoon. Kenley is co-chairman of
the panel.
The discussion is expected to include tax breaks for
so-called "racinos" and whether to allow table games along with the
slot machines already approved.
The afternoon talk is expected to include discussion of
nonsmoking accommodations at casinos and restrictions on alcohol
promotions.
