INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles license branches in 10
counties will operate longer hours next week to issue driver's
licenses and photo ID cards.
The extra hours affect branches in Dubois, Franklin, Lake,
LaPorte, Marion, Perry, Porter, Ripley, St. Joseph and Wells
counties.
Full service license branches in those counties will operate
Monday, Nov. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Election Day from

The BMV provides free, state-issued ID cards for voting
purposes to any unlicensed Hoosier who can provide proper
documentation and is old enough to vote. They need a primary
document like a birth certificate or passport, a secondary document
such as a pay stub or signed credit card, and proof of residency.
