BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - The Dalai Lama is expected to visit southern Indiana again next
May.
Spokeswoman Lisa Morrison of the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist
Cultural Center says board members are holding meetings to plan the
sixth trip by the Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader to Bloomington.
The center south of Bloomington, was founded by the Dalai
Lama's eldest brother, Thubten J. Norbu, who was a Buddhist lama
and a professor at Indiana University. He died last fall.
The Dalai Lama last visited Bloomington in October 2007.
