INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) - A Highland man won $1 million in Wednesday night's record-setting Powerball drawing.
Larry Chandler, 34, bought his winning ticket at a Citgo gas station on Kennedy Avenue in Highland, Indiana.
Chandler's ticket matched the first five numbers from Wednesday night's drawing, but not the Powerball number.
"This doesn't happen to me! It's crazy. I've never won anything," Chandler said.
Chandler, a union electrician, said he will not quit working. He plans to help his mother, start a college fund for his daughter, and take his girlfriend to Red Lobster with the money.
