FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Hours before the Indiana Democratic State Convention kicked off in Fort Wayne, the party's nominee for Governor spoke exclusively with NewsChannel 15 Friday morning on First News.

Gregg talked about the excitement of running for office and the honor to possibly represent the people of Indiana. Gregg also spoke about how his time in the Indiana General Assembly will help him represent the entire state, instead of just a specific area of Indiana.

And a topic on the minds of many people, Gregg talked about Indiana's gas tax and the higher prices people pay in this area.
