RICHMOND, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana excise police officers cited two bars in Richmond, Indiana on December 28.
According to police, Knuckleheads Pub-N-Grub on 1032 E. Main Street, and E Street Pub on 815 N. E Street, were both cited for operating on expired Type II gaming endorsements.
E Street Pub was also cited for employing an unlicensed bartender and sale of alcoholic beverages on credit.
Officers said they also issued written warnings to two other bars in Richmond on the same day.
Police said Walker’s Nightclub on 1117 E. Main Street was issued a written warning for not having sufficient food service. Indiana law requires retailers selling alcoholic beverages to have certain food and non-alcoholic beverages available to customers.
Main Street Bar & Grill on 1029 E. Main Street was also issued a written warning for not having records of an employee permit and failure to post Type II gaming house rules.
Superintendent Matt Strittmatter said the patrons at the bars were acting responsibly while excise officers issued the violations.
