INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana's DNR is hosting the Hoosier Outdoor Experience on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis.

The fourth annual event offers more than 50 free outdoor activities, including archery and target shooting, mountain biking, fishing, paddling and more.

Parking and entry fee is free for the event.

Also, participants can reserve free horseback rides by signing up at the saddle barn on the day of their ride. Sign-ups for morning rides start at 9 a.m. and sign-ups for afternoon rides start at 1 p.m.

Food and drinks will be sold at the Hoosier Outdoor Experience; however, you can also bring your own food and drinks to save money.
