DNR starts YouTube channel

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana's Department of Natural Resources is starting a YouTube channel.

There are 45 videos already featured on the YouTube channel, including a video that discusses the changes to deer hunting regulations.

Other videos featured on the YouTube channel include:

  • A video about Monument City, a former town normally submerged under Salamonie Lake during the summer but now exposed in this year’s drought.
  • A video showing Governor Mitch Daniels commemorate the groundbreaking of a visitors center at Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area.
  • A video teaching people how to fillet a crappie.
  • A video of a time-lapse recording of the Perseid meteor shower over Lake Michigan.

The videos are produced by videographer Michael Carney.
