Butler team to compete in world BBQ championship

LYNCHBURG, Tenn. (WANE) - Steel Smokin' BBQ, a team from Butler, Indiana, will be competing in the 24th Annual Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbeque.

The contest will be held in Lynchburg, Tennessee on Saturday, October 27.

Steel Smokin' BBQ will be competing in seven categories: Pork Ribs, Pork Shoulder/Butts, Beef Brisket, Chicken, Cook’s Choice, Dessert, and Jack Daniel’s Sauce.

68 champion teams from across the United States and 20 international teams will compete in the championship.
