SPICELAND, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana authorities say a 6-year-old New Jersey boy abducted two months ago will be reunited with his father after a stolen car arrest led police to his whereabouts.

Indiana State Police say Trooper Rich Silcox found the boy in Spiceland Saturday after arresting the driver of the stolen car and learning the vehicle was linked to the December abduction.

Police say the child was living in the community about 35 miles east of Indianapolis with a woman wanted in connection with the abduction. Sgt. John Bowling says New Jersey authorities declined to extradite her, so she hasn't been charged. The boy was turned over to Indiana child welfare officials to be reunited with his father.

Bowling says the boy's name and his hometown in New Jersey weren't available Sunday.
