INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - An Indianapolis woman is recovering after her house exploded Sunday morning. The one-story house was flattened.

One woman, 52, was inside. Neighbors pulled her to safety through a hole in a wall after they found her disoriented and trying to get out a locked door.

Firefighters estimate about $140,000 in damages to the home and about $20,000 to neighboring homes.

The woman and her daughter told firefighters the home's furnace had been making strange noises for three days.
