ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE)  Details into the death of nine-year-old Fort Wayne girl Aliahna Lemmon have been released through a probable cause affidavit filed in court Tuesday.

In the document, detectives detail an alleged confession made by the suspect, Michael Plumadore, 39, Fort Wayne.

Plumadore was arrested Monday night after he allegedly confessed to killing Lemmon last Thursday by striking her multiple times in the head with a brick.  He said he did this while the child stood on the front steps of his home, at the Northway Mobile Home Park at N. Clinton St. and Debold Rd.  Plumadore told detectives he then carried her body into his home and placed her body in several trash bags and then into his freezer.

Plumadore continued to tell detectives that on late Thursday night or early Friday morning, he dismembered Lemmon's body with a hacksaw and then placed the smaller pieces in freezer bags and disposed of most of them in a dumpster at a nearby business.  Plumadore said he still had Lemmon's head, feet and hands in his freezer.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for Plumadore's home where evidence technicians reported to find what they believed to be human body parts the resident's freezer.

Lemmon was first reported missing on Dec. 23 at 8:40 p.m.  According to police, the girl stayed with Plumadore for one week prior to her death.  Her mother was said to be recovering from the flu and left her daughter with the friends of the family during her illness.

Police have arrested Michael Plumadore and preliminarily charged him with murder.   He appeared in court Tuesday morning for his initial hearing escorted by four uniformed sheriff deputies.

Probable cause will be reviewed by the Allen County Prosecutor's Office before official charges will be filed.
