JASPER, Ind. (AP) -- State police say four employees of a southern Indiana nursing home have been arrested on charges that they battered and neglected a dementia patient.

Four employees of the Providence Home Health Care Center in Jasper were arrested Monday on warrants charging them with felony battery and neglect and misdemeanor intimidation. Two other employees face misdemeanor charges of failure to report abuse of an endangered adult.

Court documents say videos show nursing assistants hitting the uncooperative patient or rolling the patient over aggressively, causing the patient's head to hit the bed side rails.

Police say a Dubois County judge issued the arrest warrants after an investigation by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the state attorney general's office, state police and the county prosecutor's office.
