Indiana soldier killed in Afghanistan

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WANE) - An Indiana soldier was killed in Afghanistan.

Sgt. Kyle Osborn was from Lafayette. He was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom when insurgents attacked his unit with small guns and grenade fire on Thursday.

He was 26 years old and a member of the U.S. Army.
