Two Auburn police officers fired

AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) - According to the Kendallville News Sun, two Auburn police officers have been fired.

Thursday, the Board of Works in Auburn voted to terminate the pair for "conduct unbecoming of an officer".

The two officers are Brett Browand and Christopher Pongratz.

The City attorney says the two can appeal their terminations.

What happened to lead to the officers being fired isn't yet known at this time.
