FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne charter school is on probation for failing to meet several guidelines set forth by its governing body, Ball State University.
The Imagine MASTer Academy must now complete several corrective steps to keep its charter from being revoked.
Ball State says the board of directors is deficient in its oversight of the school and may have violated Indiana's open door policy when it offered tax-exempt status to two charter schools in Texas.
Ball State also says they will not consider an expansion request from the school until its corrective action plan is complete.
