FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Traffic was backed up on Interstate 69 following an accident involving several vehicles.
Police responded to the accident just before noon on Sunday.
Several cars had been involved in an accident in the northbound lanes near the 109 mile marker.
Police had to shut down the northbound lanes at the 105 mile marker while crews cleaned up the accident.
Some minor injuries have been reported.
Police say at this time they believe the accident was weather related.
They ask that motorists use caution while driving and try to avoid the interstate if possible.
