HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) - A Huntington drive-in movie theater is celebrating 60 years in business. To thank the community for its support over the years, owners decided to offer a free movie showing Saturday night.

“There’s nothing better than watching a movie outdoors on a warm summer night,” co-owner John Detzler said.

The Huntington Drive-in is considered one of the state's oldest theaters of its kind and one of only a few drive-ins still operating in the region.

Dozens turned out for the free movie to celebrate its success and to bring back memories.

The theater is located at:
1291 Condit Street
