FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana State Police announced in a press conference Sunday morning following a tragic stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair that among those killed was a Fort Wayne native.

State police dispersed a release from the Marion County Coroner's Office that said the woman was 23-year-old Alina BigJohny. She died at the scene.

She was one of five people that were killed when a large wind gust brought down the stage at the Indiana State Fair just before a Sugarland concert Saturday night.

"If the question is, "Is there a chance other people could pass away? That possibility is there and that's why we're asking for everybody to give their thoughts and prayers to everybody thats being treated," said Indiana State Police First Sgt. Dave Bursten.

State police identified four others who died at the scene as Tammy Vandam, 42 of Wanatah, Ind; Glenn Goodrich, 49 of Indianapolis; Christiana Santiago, 29 of Chicago.  Nate Byrd, 51, of Indianapolis also died from injuries he suffered in the collapse. He was a stage hand who was running a spotlight above the stage.
