FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Christmas season is practically upon us and the postal service is gearing up for holiday mailings.
Friday, November 12th is the first of many mailing deadlines.
Parcel Post packages for troops serving overseas should be sent Friday to make sure they arrive on time.
Holiday letters and cards to most locations should be mailed by December 10th.
Items sent to overseas military addresses are charged domestic mail prices.
