FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Indiana Tech's enrollment for the 2012-2013 academic year has grown by 29%.

Indiana Tech has 7,010 students enrolled for the fall 2012 semester.

The college offers degree programs in tradition semester format, accelerated classroom format, and accelerated online format.

The main campus in downtown Fort Wayne is planning to break ground on a new 60,000-square-foot academic center in May of 2013.

“We’re growing, and we hope to continue that growth, but we’re still small enough that our faculty and staff can get to know our students and support them as a community. We don’t ever want to grow so large that we forget our commitment to relationship-based education," Dr. Arthur E. Snyder, Indiana Tech president, said.

Indiana Tech has more than ten campuses across the Midwest including: Elkhart, Fishers, Greenwood, Huntington, Indianapolis, Jeffersonville, Kendallville, Louisville, Mishawaka, Munster, Northern Kentucky, Plainfield, and Warsaw. They also have extensive online programs.
