The search for missing woman, Debra Houser, 49, took crews to Larwill Lake in Whitley County Wednesday.

The Whitley Co. Sheriff's Department brought in a diver with an underwater camera to search the lake.

"It doesn't matter if it's black water or if it's water that you can't see through. (The image) still comes out just as clear," said Cathy Broxon-Ball, with the Thorncreek Township Fire Department.

Houser's ex-husband, Rodney Houser, is charged with her murder. He appeared in court Monday.

Police said they are trying to perform as thorough of a search as possible, but would not divulge any information about leads or tips they may have received. Police want to search lakes and ponds, because their investigation has led them to believe Rodney Houser was interested in hiding her body in a body of water.

The search for Debra Houser's body began Nov. 18 near Houser's home located at 4140 West Old Trail Road in rural Whitley County. Since the search started, the parameters for the search area have expanded vastly as more information is available to police.

At the end of the day Wednesday, the search of Larwill Lake did not come up with any evidence.

Police will break for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and continue searching on Monday.
