FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police are asking for the public's help to find two men who robbed the McDonald's at 1103 Goshen Ave. Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Police reports faxed to NewsChannel 15 indicate two men entered the restaurant Tuesday around 5:30 p.m.  Dressed in all black, and wearing masks, at least one of the men carried a gun and pointed it at employees and customers.  The man who came into the restaurant first wore a black mask, carried a gun, and apparently made threatening statements.  The second man to enter the restaurant wore a white, "Jason-style" hockey mask.  That man went around the counter and into the back office where he stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second man reportedly took a customer's purse, but dropped it outside of the restaurant after taking the wallet.

Witnesses describe the man in the white mask as approximately 6' 02" with a skinny frame.  The second man was significantly shorter than the other man, according to witness statements.  Police say witnesses told them both men were black.

Police reports show the two escaped in a black sedan with tinted windows.  A former sheriff's deputy was in the restaurant at the time of the robbery and followed the suspects outside in order to obtain a license plate number.  Though he wasn't able to obtain the entire number, the numbers and letters he did see lead police to believe the car was a 2000 Chevy Impala.
